Start with the customer journey
A customer should be able to open your link, understand what you offer, choose a realistic time and know what happens after sending a request. If the process needs a phone call or a new app download, many customers will leave before finishing.
Check the owner workspace
The public page is only half of the system. Look for a calendar, booking statuses, service settings, customer history and a clear way to manage availability. These are the tools that save time after the first booking arrives.
- A calendar that shows the day clearly
- Service durations and prices
- Customer details and booking history
- Opening hours, holidays and blocked times
Make sure free really means free
A free plan should be useful on its own rather than only being a short trial. Check what remains available, whether the page stays live and what monthly booking limit applies before you build your workflow around it.
Leave room to grow
A small business may start with one person and three services, then add staff, more services, reminders, exports or custom branding. Choose a tool with a clear upgrade path so you can keep your data and process as the business develops.
